It's been a whole month since my last post! I am much better at posting on my baby blog, since that's the one I am constantly thinking about. As I was loading pictures tonight, I noticed again how much we've had going on in the last month. Better update, my friends!
Be prepared for picture overload...
In September, Kyhle and I were able to attend Bloomington Stake Conference. Kyhle had the privilege to ordain his brother, Strom, to the office of Elder. Mission, here we come! We are so proud of you, Strom!
Earlier this month, our church had General Conference. Kyhle and I joined my sister and her family at my parent's house for the Sunday session. Eli sure has a fun time at Grammie and Grandpa's house!
One of my good friends, Andrea is getting married in 2.5 weeks! Holy cow! Andrea and I were in Young Women's together growing up. We were able to have a small girls' night with Emily and Joanna at BJ's Brewhouse in Greenwood to celebrate the fun way! ;) Dinner started at 6:30, and we didn't leave the restaurant until close to 10! We had such a great time, and much needed laughs! I thought we were going to get kicked out! (Joanna! :)) I am so blessed with such amazing friends in my life. I love that even if we don't hang out for months, when we do, we say one word and everyone is laughing. I know these girls would be there for me if I ever need them, and I would do the same for them!
My sister, Laura, and her husband, David, hosted a family dinner at their new house! (They moved there in July.) We had such a nice time! I am so grateful to have some family close by to us. I can't imagine what it will be like if we end up moving away for Law School. I would/will be incredibly home-sick!
My family has a tradition of going to the Covered Bridge Festival in the small town of Rockville, Indiana. My Grandmother grew up in Rockville, so we have been going every year since my siblings were young! Unfortunately, none of my family could come home to attend this year, and my parents were on vacation, so Kyhle and his brother, Strom, were great supporters, and went with me. It was different than all of the times I can remember, and I missed my family, but we had a nice time together. After we ate some crullers, we went through the tents and then drove around to see some covered bridges. We spent the whole weekend in Terre Haute with Kyhle's family. I am so blessed to have such amazing in-laws! I really did hit the jackpot with them, and I am so grateful for each of them and all they do for us. I am grateful for the relationship I am building with Kyhle's brothers, and I know it will just get better.
The fall colors have been gorgeous this year! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, and I love that we made such great new memories this year.
Up next...Pumpkin Patch with my nephew, ward chili cook-off and Halloween party, and...
Thanksgiving in California (30 days away!) Really looking forward to the next month!
