Fall Festivities

I feel like fall has just flown by!  We had a beautiful season this year, with lots of colors on the trees and perfect weather to go along with it.  Kyhle and I were able to go to the Covered Bridge Festival in Rockville, Indiana.  My family always went growing up, and last year was the first year I didn't have any family there with me, so Kyhle's brother, Strom, joined us.  This year, Kyhle and I just went by ourselves for the day and we had such a nice time!  We ate some yummy food, shopped around a bit, and then drove out in the country and saw some covered bridges.  It was a pretty perfect day!

A couple of weeks later, we joined by parents and my sister Laura's family for an afternoon at Apple Works down in Trafalgar, Indiana.  I love when we get to do things with the family, and especially with Eli and Clara!  It was somewhat chilly out, but overall a fun afternoon with some delicious apple dumplings.  They had a petting zoo, a barn slide, a country store, a pumpkin patch, and a few other fun activities for children.

Now that November is here, and it is still "Autumn", I feel that it is officially holiday season!  I cannot believe Thanksgiving is just a week and a half away!  I am so excited for Christmas and to see all of my family.
