Well, it sure has been a while! Welcome Back, Rebecca! :)
I know it's a little behind, but we had a fantastic time with family during the Holidays. Why does it have to fly by so fast? As I have said before, all 4 of my older siblings came home with their spouses and kiddos for a whole week that we called "Hoosier Holidays!" Sadly, Kyhle and I both had to work some of the week, so we didn't get every day with them, but the time we got was memorable. We enjoyed different trips to The Children's Museum, Bloomington for an IU Game, downtown Indianapolis for a family photo and nice dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. I also got the privilege of co-hosting my oldest sister, Emily's baby shower. I will never forget Christmas morning with my entire family, and seeing all of the kids' faces light up opening all of their presents, and acting out the Nativity with them on Christmas Eve, along with all 18 of us sitting around the table for a fabulous Christmas Eve dinner. I sure love my family, and feel so blessed to have each of them in my life.
Unfortunately, I ended the Hoosier Holidays catching a nasty sickness. I started feeling poorly on Christmas Eve, and on Monday, the doc told me I had a double ear infection along with an upper respiratory infection. No fun! Kyhle and I both ended up getting sick, along with 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 sisters, and a brother-in-law! Not a great way to end the Holidays. Because of being sick, Kyhle and I stayed home, cuddled, and watched the newest Harry Potter on our new TV! It may not have been the most exciting NYE, but we enjoyed each other's company. :)
Last weekend, I enjoyed a night out with some old high school girlfriends to celebrate my best friend, Marlie's engagement! Her fiance, Joel, proposed during the firework show in front of Cinderella's Castle! I am oh-so-happy for both of them, and I have already enjoyed some planning with Marlie. It's still a while away (2013), but I have a feeling we'll need all the time we can get!
Last but not least...we are going to FLORIDA! We booked a trip to Tampa during Kyhle's spring break March 10-14. We have so much planned in such a short time, but we are counting down the days! Some of the things we'll enjoy there will be: Universal Studios/Harry Potter World, a couple of Spring Training games, including the Red Sox vs. Yankees, and a visit with Kyhle's best friend, Dallas, and his wife and new baby! I will do my best to post again before we leave! Ha!
50 Days and Counting! :)
Enjoy a few photos from our family photo session during "Hoosier Holdays!"
